Oliver Westbury was the first deaf man to reach the North Pole and plans a rare double - journeying to the South Pole in 2012, on the centenary of the ill-fated Scott expedition.

Oliver Westbury was the first deaf man to reach the North Pole, and See Hear filmed the amazing journey. More than a year on from his original adventure, Oliver is planning to complete a rare double - journeying to the South Pole in 2012, on the 100th anniversary of the ill-fated Scott expedition.

Cameras follow Oliver as he starts the process of recruiting people for his team, soliciting advice from the renowned explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes, and discovering just how hostile an environment the Antarctic can be compared to the relatively easy-going Arctic.
