A 12-year-old girl is rescued from the brink of death following a nasty end to a joyriding incident. Returning home to the seedy apartment building she shares with her mother and younger siblings, she begins to experience disturbing phenomena. Turning to a sceptical journalist for help, she soon finds herself the subject of a parapsychology study.
