Connie is determined to get the Director of Surgery job, but she must convince Jayne that she is better than Michael. Will Jayne influence the decision of the interview panel after all that Connie has done to destroy her marriage?
It is Donna's first day back at work after the death of her father. Maria tries to make things easy, but when she needs her friend's support she is let down badly, resulting in a tragic accident which will affect Maria's life for some time to come.
Joseph finds evidence that Faye phoned Linden on their wedding day, sending their relationship onto the rocks again.
