Elliot is pleased when Tara is offered a contract extension, but discovers they have opposing views on patient care. Oliver tries to end his affair with Chrissie.
Tara is offered another contract at Holby City, but when she and Elliot disagree over a Do Not Resuscitate request from a patient, they have to rethink their plans. Wrong time, wrong place - one day, maybe.
Ollie tries to get Chrissie to dump him, but when Ollie becomes her hero over a patient who kicks off on the ward, he realises he is going to have to try harder.
The battle for the Director of Surgery position continues, and Connie is not helped when a risky patient dies in her theatre. But Jac has plans to turn things around and disgrace Ric as best she can.
