Glory

An inexperienced white officer leads the regiment in the fight against the Confederacy. The soldiers and their commander must overcome the racism of fellow Union officers and prove their valour on the battlefield.

Denzel Washington won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film.
