Atmospheric political thriller set in Indonesia in 1965. Arriving in Jakarta on his first overseas assignment, Australian radio journalist Guy Hamilton is plunged into a world of revolution and fear. The only person he can trust is photographer Billy Kwan - but then Guy meets Jill Bryant from the British Embassy, and they embark on a passionate affair with perilous consequences.
