The BBC Singers's special Good Friday concert concludes with Stephen Cleobury conducting a performance of Marcel Landowski's setting for choir, organ and cello of the scriptural lessons for Tenebrae, the ancient monastic service sung in Holy Week as a symbol of the gathering darkness of Christ's Passion and Crucifixion.
