Laurie Taylor is joined by Professor Kevin Doogan, author of a book entitled New Capitalism? whose close analysis of the labour force in Britain and the United States shows a surprising continuity with the past. His thesis contends that, even with the present financial crisis, claims that the world of work has changed forever are little more that scare mongering.
