Jacob and Will Grimm are a sibling pair of con artists specialising in taking advantage of peasant superstitions about witches and curses. But when they are called upon to investigate the disappearance of a number of girls from what is said to be an enchanted forest, they suddenly find themselves at the centre of what might just be a very dark, and very real, fairy tale.
