The show featured actors Jane Asher and David Soul, Drum 'n Bass star Goldie, Blur bassist Alex James, broadcasters Katie Derham and Peter Snow, and comedians Sue Perkins and Bradley Walsh, all determined to become the ultimate Maestro. The documentary reveals how the celebrity students and their mentors developed technique and style, and shows their emotional highs and lows as well as the reasons why, one by one, they had to go. With previously unseen footage and interviews from some of the students, judges and BBC Concert Orchestra players, this documentary gives the inside story of their incredible Maestro journey.
