Proof of Life

Thriller. When an engineer is kidnapped in Latin America, his wife hires a professional negotiator to secure his release, but they become attracted to each other.

Thriller about a couple having marital problems and living in South America when the husband is kidnapped by anti-government guerrillas. His company hires a professional negotiator, but bankruptcy causes them to wash their hands of the situation.

Desperate to free her husband, the wife raises some money and persuades the negotiator to stay on the case, but the two find themselves becoming increasingly attracted to each other.
