Whitechapel Dreams by Bernard Kops

The Whitechapel Library was almost a holy place, "The University of the East End".

Following its closure, one of its graduates, Bernard Kops, takes us into its cellar.

Here, he tells a story about a retiring librarian, Isaac Rosenberg the poet and a young Muslim woman seeking refuge.
