Big Bike Ride

Documentary about two OAPs who set off on a 6000-km bicycle trip. When Penny encounters a heart problem, the whole undertaking is suddenly in jeopardy.

It should have been the trip of a lifetime for retired midwife Mave Paterson and potter Penny Weir. But cycling 6000 kilometres, the distance from Scotland to Pakistan, was never going to be easy for two OAPs who don't always see eye to eye. When Penny encounters a heart problem, the whole trip is suddenly in jeopardy and Mave faces a dilemma - to press on and claim a record or support her friend.
