With much film stock either deliberately destroyed, mishandled or chemically degrading on shelves, the battle to save and salvage old films is on.

Author and cultural historian, Matthew Sweet learns about the problems and pitfalls from experts Yeoman Clark, Louise Alum, Andreas Kalas, Ian Christie, Neil Brand and Kevin Brownlow.
