BBC Proms 2008

A Prom featuring Vassily Sinaisky and the BBC Philharmonic performing Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, the tale of a Princess who seduces the Sultan with her never-ending fund of stories. The great Russian conductor's enthusiasm for all things English is also displayed with performances of Elgar and Vaughan Williams. Introduced by Rob Cowan.
