Comedy series based around the relationship between Essex boy Gavin and Welsh lass Stacey and their friends. Stacey's getting used to being an Essex wife, but it's not as exciting as she'd hoped. She bucks up at the weekend, when it's time for a home visit to Barry. Smithy goes with Nessa for the first scan and they get the first glimpse of their baby.
