Episode 9

Twelve boys and girls live as 1940s war evacuees. Local farmer Mr Ward brings a delivery of three little pigs. They might be cute but they're for fattening up to eat, a fact that some of the bacon-loving evacuees find too much to take. Miss Young requests that the evacuees put on an evening performance, which goes down a treat with the Lord and Lady - so much so that all of the evacuees are invited to dinner.
