Episode 8

Twelve boys and girls live as 1940s war evacuees. The evacuees prepare Pradoe Hall for a potential enemy invasion as Colonel Fanthorpe arrives from the Home Guard. The girls build a make shift camp outside, while the boys collect supplies from inside the house to hide in the woods. There's also an unexpectedly nice surprise from Miss Young; tomorrow is Empire Day, and each evacuee must represent a country at the celebration.
