Episode 7

Twelve boys and girls live as 1940s war evacuees. Ten days in, the arrival of a new girl sets the cat among the pigeons. South London girl Sade is expected to muck in from the off, a fact that leaves her extremely unimpressed, and her workshy ways certainly don’t go unnoticed by the other evacuees. A boost of wartime spirit is needed, and the boys get exactly that with a visit from Sgt Rae, who deals out a tough morning of cadet training. Meanwhile, the girls are given first aid training.
