Peggy is touched when family and friends spoil her and Jack on their wedding anniversary. Kenton arrives with chocolates; a hung-over Lilian 'helps' find her gift from Jack (a crystal cat, named 'Sammy'); and Lynda, Caroline and Ian pull out all the stops at Grey Gables. Jack remains largely confused but Peggy is moved by the support.

After last night's revelations, Kathy remains angry with Kenton, but her mood changes when Lynda visits. Lynda gently points out that Elizabeth would not have maliciously told her secret - and reminds her of how lucky she is to have Kenton. When Kenton returns, Kathy apologises for treating him badly. Kenton reminds Kathy that he is always there for her, whatever happens.
