Eddie gets ahead in advertising.

Eddie and Lynda are both touting posters for their various Christmas events. Eddie is crestfallen to discover that Lynda and Robert have set up a website for their Christmas concert. Clarrie is cooking endlessly to supply goodies for the Grundys' fair, and she's getting very dispirited. Fallon hears about it from Ed and turns up to put on an apron and help her. She puts on a Christmas CD too, and makes mince pies with a will. Clarrie can't believe it - and suddenly, the whole thing is much more cheerful for her.

Debbie gets on the phone to Adam. She's been on a tour of bio-energy plants in Germany, and is impressed with how far ahead they are in the production of green power. She's convinced that Home Farm should be looking into investing in an anaerobic digester. Adam is right behind the project, and they both get very enthusiastic about it. However, when Debbie suggests they should get Borsetshire Land on board, Adam is less keen. They both want to go ahead though - so it's just a question of convincing Brian.
