Nigel learns lessons from the past.

It's Remembrance Sunday, and Nigel speaks movingly about his visit to the battlefield where his Great Uncle Rupert was killed, at Ypres. At church, Jill shows everyone her new eternity ring from Phil - she's so thrilled with it.

Kenton has decided that he and Jamie will make Sunday lunch today, so he won't let Kathy in the kitchen. She can't settle, and goes out for a walk. Kenton immediately calls in Clarrie to help them with the Yorkshire puds. Kathy goes to see Lynda and confides in her about the rape. Lynda is shocked and upset for her. It's good for the two women to talk about it - as it was Lynda who left Kathy to lock up after the rehearsal that night. She offers her support again, understanding how lonely it is to keep something like that to oneself. Kathy goes home to Kenton feeling better, and is suitably impressed by the Yorkshire puds.
