Scotland's Shame: Bunce Island

When the slave trade hit West Africa, the Scots were at the shameful heart of it, running the slaving fort of Bunce Island in the Sierra Leone River as a little piece of Scotland.

Journalist Joan Baxter explores the island and finds how one young Scots abolitionist faced up to it.
