Lynda shows her charming side.

Sid and Jolene decide to provide a canopy for smokers at the side of the Bull. Jolene tells Sid that Ed and Fallon are going out somewhere, so they may need a hand in the bar.

Ruth tells David she's thinking about a breast reconstruction. David is very quiet about it, and doesn't seem keen to accompany Ruth to the doctor to chat about it further.

Jill and Lynda are in Glebe Cottage's garden discussing their plans for the church open day. They take a look at Phil's potentially prize winning fennel when Jill announces calmly that she's seen a snake under a tree! Jill calls David for help, whils Lynda suggests dashes to the Bull for assistance, and finds Alastair and Sid.

The undergrowth is thoroughly checked, but the snake has gone. However, a discarded snakeskin is found and Alastair thinks it's from a boa constrictor. Alastair knows that the snake is not responsible for the death of Freda's stray cat. They joke that numbers will be up for the church open day if there's a hunt for the snake, but Lynda's worried that when word gets out, the snake will need protection, not hunting.
