Sue Barker introduces coverage of a Grand Prix meeting that has attracted many of the greatest names in athletics to Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium. Several Olympic and world champions are on show, with arguably the most anticipated head-to-head between Olympic 400m gold medallist Jeremy Wariner and double amputee Oscar Pistorius of South Africa. Pistorius, nicknamed Blade Runner because of the carbon fibre blades he uses on both legs below the knees, is running for the first time in an able-bodied meeting of this calibre.
