Stephane Cornicard presents six short programmes to help with spoken French. Designed for people who have learnt some French already, the programmes cover situations that you are likely to encounter in France.

Unit 1: 'Parti' - preview of the series.

Unit 2: 'En route' - finding your way around. The film crew attempt to find the Cité International in Marseilles and have to stop to ask directions.

Unit 3: 'Les langues' - languages. Introducing family members and saying where you are from. The Berrow family talk about being bilingual and introduce themselves.

Unit 4: 'Bon marché' - shopping. The language of shopping. In Lyons, the Jourde family goes shopping at the open-air market for fresh produce, while Hakim M'Barek prefers the supermarket.

Unit 5: 'Le travail' - work. Talking about your work. Various people who work in Le Grand Bornand, a winter ski resort, discuss their jobs and René Duc talks about being a 'musher', working with a team of dogs in St-Jean-de-Sixte.

Unit 6: 'Très occupé' - busy person. Talking about your daily routines and making arrangements. Hakim M'Barek talks us through his working day in Lyons.
