But in just 12 months, Jimmy Nicholl took Raith Rovers from the lower reaches of the Scottish First Division to League Cup victory over Celtic and into the UEFA Cup. Among those recalling those magical days alongside Nicholl are Colin Cameron, Jason Dair, Gordon Dalziel, Danny Lennon, Stevie Crawford and Scott Thomson.
