Street Doctor

GPs venture out of their surgeries and on to the streets of Britain. In Newcastle they meet Ray, whose diet is putting him at risk, and Steve, who has a mysterious rash.

Four GPs venture out of their surgeries and on to the streets of Britain.

They visit Newcastle, where the biggest killer of women is heart disease and where there are more binge drinkers than anywhere else in England. Attending the roadside consultations are shipyard worker Ray, whose bad diet is putting him at risk of diabetes, and long distance runner Steve, who has a mysterious rash. Dr George identifies a serious condition when he comes face to face with pensioner Alf.
