Drama series about apparently perfect soulmates whose lives parallel each other yet don't intersect - Gil, an American comedy writer in search of artistic integrity and a lasting relationship, and Alice, an account manager in a London store. Alice discovers she has a secret admirer - a young medical student from her block of flats.
