Blow Dry

Comedy drama. A young man (Josh Hartnett) enters the British hairdressing championships, but his dad (Alan Rickman), once a top stylist, is not keen to re-enter a bitchy business.

Comedy drama about a young man, Brian, who enters the annual British hairdressing championships when they come to his home town.

Brian's dad was once a top stylist but now runs a humble barber shop in Keighley with him, and is not keen to re-enter a business riven by bitching and backbiting. The son's estranged mother hopes that if the family enters the competition together, it might give them all a sense of closure.
