Serendipity

Romantic comedy. After meeting while shopping, Jonathan and Sara (John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale) fall in love, but they part the same evening. Years later, destiny reunites them.

Romantic comedy. Jonathan and Sara instantly fall in love when they meet in a New York department store while shopping for Christmas presents for their respective partners. They spend one magical evening together, at the end of which, rather than exchanging numbers, they decide to test fate to see if their romance was meant to be. Sara writes her number down in a book which she will sell the next day, and Jon notes his down on a dollar bill, which is immediately spent. They part. It is now up to destiny to bring them back together...
