Two single-parent families, the Butterworths from urban Leeds and the Hulls from an Essex village, volunteer to exchange lives for a week, swapping homes, pets, jobs, schools, diet and even house rules. The last day has arrived but before the families meet up, there's still time for a few last minute disasters.
