The Christmas Lunch Incident
The Christmas 1996 episode of the clerical sitcom. Geraldine agrees to attend three Christmas lunches in order not to hurt anyone's feelings.
It is Christmas in Dibley, and vicar Geraldine is about to pay a heavy price for Christian kindness. To avoid hurting anyone's feelings, she agrees to attend not one, not two, but three Christmas lunches.
What follows is a Christmas nightmare lunch with her verger Alice and her less clever sister, a brussels sprouts-eating competition, and Jim Trott telling the least funny 'knock, knock' joke in the world.
