David and Ruth resort to Plan B.

Ruth's pleased when David announces that the herd's cell count is down. The Archer children are unimpressed by Jill's idea of ploughmen and milkmaid costumes for the cricket run. In despair, David decides to get some outfits from a costume hire shop, otherwise they'll all end up barking mad. With a limited choice, they end up coming back with Roman togas.

About to face her next round of chemotherapy, Siobhan says she'll miss Brian but understands why he has to go. When she asks if Jennifer's moved at all, Brian says it's hard to judge how she's feeling. But her visit means that at least she's keeping an open mind. The best thing is to give Jennifer some space but he asks Siobhan to stall Niamh and her mother.

Later, Brian's hopeful when Jennifer says that Ruairi's obviously a big part of his life and that Brian's also very important to Ruairi as he's the only father he's got. But she still doesn't want Brian to get his hopes up. At the airport Alice texts saying she hopes Jennifer and Brian are OK. When Brian asks Jennifer if they are, she says she doesn't know.
