The Producers

Classic black comedy in which a crooked Broadway producer co-opts a timid accountant into mounting a play that's certain to flop, intending to sell out and escape to Rio. They track down the worst play in history - Springtime for Hitler, a gay romp with Adolf and Eva Braun - turn it into a musical and recruit the most inept cast and director they can find. Surely it must fail... mustn't it?
