Biographical drama telling the story of Miguel Pinero, playwright and larger-than-life figure in the 1970s New York art scene. Pinero rose to fame with a Tony Award-winning play he penned while serving time in Sing Sing. He was feted on release, but fame unsettled him and despite the efforts of his girlfriend, he turned to drugs.
