Ned Catches a Cold

When Ned doesn't turn up for the Koalas' take-off routine, Frank and Buster discover that he has a cold - his first - and is too ill to work. The Koalas encourage him to stay in bed and Frank gives him a bulb horn that he can use whenever he needs some assistance. Ned initially enjoys the attention, but soon starts to worry that he won't be needed anymore around the homestead, as Mitzi seems to be taking over his various duties. When he confesses his worry to the Koalas, they reassure him that as soon as he's better he can get back to his duties. The next day, Ned is indeed feeling better, but someone else is blowing the bulb horn! It's Mitzi, who has now caught a cold. The Koalas enlist Ned's help to look after her, and Ned realises that his help will always be needed round the homestead.
