Classic wartime sitcom. Captain Mainwaring's platoon want to look as young as possible in case they are drafted into the Air Raid Patrol.

Classic wartime sitcom. After years at war, the British government decides to instil the Home Guard with more youthful members and existing, long-serving members could be moved into the Air Raid Patrol. As soon as this information is received by the Home Guard in Walmington-on-Sea, some of the platoon take drastic action to appear more youthful. Corsets reappear, toupees are worn and Private Fraser, the local undertaker, is asked to make the eldest members look more alive.
