One Good Man

Police drama series set in Chicago. Having persuaded suave businessman, John Taylor, to buy his decaying tenement block from the present slumlord, Fraser finds himself in hot water with his fellow tenants when Taylor proceeds to raise the rents beyond their capacity to pay and serves eviction notices. Turning to old friend and hotshot reporter Mackenzie King for help in the publicity department, Fraser and Ray go to City Hall. There Fraser takes the floor for the speech of a lifetime.
