Family drama about a disillusioned civil servant who makes a better life for himself with the help of a pet otter.

The man buys the animal to brighten his dull London routine but is soon forced to vacate his flat due to the creature's playfully destructive disposition. He leaves his job, and the pair take off for the Scottish Highlands to forge a peaceful new life.
