Adam suspects a conspiracy.

Eddie goes to see Adam about his lambing shifts but Adam's preoccupied with a brochure that's arrived advertising the services of a farm contracting company. He tackles Brian about it, saying he and Debbie are bulldozing ahead regardless. But Brian says that, as times have changed, he's very interested in Adam expanding the soft fruit and he's prepared to invest if the costings look viable. Adam's cautiously pleased, but tells Jennifer he won't be sidelined from the other issues at the farm.

Lilian calls to accompany Jennifer to Borchester and chats to Brian about the various charity events for Comic Relief. She's less than amused that Matt's bought his ticket for the wine tasting. She notices a flyer for the new bar that Adam's friend's opened in Borchester, but Brian says the Bull's more his style. Later, while Lilian's waiting for Jennifer to finish in the hairdresser, she pays a visit to the new bar, and bumps into Eddie! The two hurriedly come up with valid reasons for being there, and escort one another out.
