Christopher is off to Davos with Netia and Susan interrupts his packing to check he's doing it properly. Chris has to conceal the fact that he changed all the clothes she made him buy, and snatches his washbag from her before she checks it for him. Off he goes with Netia's parents, who are in too much of a hurry to drop in for a coffee.

Emma starts work at Brookfield, and has her work cut out doing the housework and looking after the children as well. When Will comes to collect George, Ruth is impressed with the civilised way that Emma and Will are now dealing with each other. Usha comes for lunch and Ruth has no real change to report - David is still absenting himself whenever possible. Usha wonders about Valentine's Day. Ruth is thinking she'll just let it go without comment but Usha thinks David might need a helping hand.
