St Louis to Dogon Country

Hollywood superstar Danny Glover travels along the oldest line in Africa when he takes the Bamako Express from St Louis on the coast of Senegal to Bamako in poverty-stricken Mali. During the course of his journey, he encounters the acclaimed musician Youssou N'Dour, the Senegalese film director Sembene Ousmane and one of the world's oldest and most complex tribal cultures.
