Wartime drama series based on the acclaimed book by Stephen E Ambrose. Due to heavy casualties, a group of fresh paratrooper replacements joins Easy Company in time for a massive drop into German-occupied Holland. While they meet no resistance in Eindhoven, Easy Company sustain many casualties as they are repelled from a nearby town by a superior German force, and the Allied plan to end the war by Christmas fails.
