Enemy at the Gates

Fact-based war drama set during the 1942-43 battle of Stalingrad as a Russian marksman is given the task of killing a German major, whose own expert shooting skills make him a formidable enemy. Supported by a propaganda officer, the Russian soldier takes up the challenge with resilient determination, but a personal battle develops between the two comrades when they both fall for a Jewish woman.
