Tense thriller about the hunt for a serial killer who imitates the methods of notorious murderers. A top criminal psychologist is consulted by a pair of homicide detectives who believe that she could help them investigate a series of killings. Although a virtual recluse since being attacked by a homicidal maniac, she is intrigued by the murders and is drawn into the case - and the fatal dangers it inevitably involves.
