All you need to know about Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park.

Can I buy food and drink at the event?

Yes there are a variety of catering units at the event selling both hot and cold food and drinks. There are bars selling a wide range of beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks.

Will there be vegetarian food available to buy?

Yes, there is a good mix of catering including vegetarian options.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes but hampers should not be any larger than 20 inches x 13 inches x 8 inches and you are not permitted to bring glass items and that includes glass bottles. You can also buy hampers. Please note no alcoholic drinks can be brought into the arena.

Is drinking water available at the event?

Yes, drinking water is available. Bottled water and other soft drinks may also be purchased from the bars and catering units.

Can I bring a bottle? What happens if I do?

You are not permitted to bring any glass items including bottles. Any glass items will be confiscated on entry.

Can I buy a hamper?

Yes. Full hamper menus, prices and details on how to pre-order will be available on the See Tickets website

Can I cook at the event? Can I bring a BBQ?

No, you cannot do any cooking at the event. Barbecues are not permitted (this includes disposible barbecues) and neither is any type of camping stove. There is plenty of catering at the event with a good selection of hot and cold food.

Is there any parking?

There is no specific event parking for the general public. Limited parking is available for pre-registered disabled customers. Local car parks will be in operation however the use of public transport is highly recommended.

Which is the nearest tube station to the event?

Marble Arch is at the north end of the site and Hyde Park Corner is at the south end of the site. Knightsbridge, Victoria, Bond Street and Green Park are a short walk to the event site.

How can I access disabled facilities on site?

Are children allowed?

Yes, but they need to have a ticket. Children under the age under 3 years are admitted free of charge. Children under 14 are not permitted unless accompanied by an adult.

Will there be baby changing facilities?

Yes, a number of the toilet units do have baby changing facilities.

Can my 13 year-old son meet me at the event?

You will need to arrive together as children under the age of 14 are not permitted unless accompanied by an adult.

Is the entertainment all on big screens?

It is a live concert with artists performing on a stage. There will also be two large screens adjacent to the stage.

Are dogs allowed at the event?

No pets are allowed within the event site. Guide Dogs however will be permitted.

Can I bring a chair?

We ask people not to bring and use chairs as it restricts the views of others. We do understand that they are needed by some people who have limited mobility and in these exceptional circumstances, we ask you to use them with consideration.

Is there anything that I am not allowed to bring?

The following articles are not permitted on site– non-domestic knives, fireworks, smoke or gas canisters (including aerosols and nitrous oxide), Chinese lanterns, megaphones, air-horns, sound systems, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, glass vessels, poles, unauthorised items for trading, including any goods using unauthorised event logos, and any article that might be used as a weapon and / or compromise public safety, including unofficial tabards.

What should I wear?

Keep an eye on the weather forecast! It can be very hot during the day in September, so sunscreen is a good idea. It also gets quite chilly later on in the evening, so come prepared with some warm clothing as well.

Are there any public telephones at the event?

There are no public telephones in Hyde Park.

Can I get back in to the event after I leave?

There is no re-admission to the event. Once you have left the event you will not be able to get back in.

Can I reserve a chair?

It is not possible to reserve a chair.

Is there anywhere that I can arrange to meet up with my friend?

There is a ‘Meeting Point’ on the west side of the arena, and this is clearly visible once you are inside the event site.

Can I buy a ticket on the day?

No, tickets for Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park are now sold out. You will not be able to purchase tickets from the box office on the day.

Will the event go ahead if it rains?

Yes, the event will go ahead regardless of the weather conditions.

Will there be fireworks or strobe lighting at the event?

Yes, it is likely that there will be strobe lighting and a firework finale at the end of the event.

I would like to bring a small tent with me, is this allowed?

No. No tents or shelters of any kind or size are permitted.

I have a golf umbrella that I would like to bring with me, will this be allowed?

Yes, although nothing larger than a golf umbrella, and please be considerate to people around you. You might be better off using a plastic mac with a hood.

Can I bring my bicycle in to the event arena?

Bicycles are not permitted in the event arena.
