All this week we're talking about online bullying and negativity

Our Internet Takeover vloggers will be sharing their experiences

Come and get involved...

At Radio 1 we're talking about why online negativity happens, how to deal with it and how to be a good friend online.

You can get loads of information and support here at BBC Advice, and there's loads of great stuff happening on air each day for you to get involved with. Each night at 9pm Monday-Thursday there'll be a special programme talking about these issues.

MONDAY

Dan and Phil’s Guide To Online Safety: Dan and Phil’s journey through the world of online safety sees them getting advice from experts about identity fraud, scams, cyber-bullying and how to keep your online reputation intact.

TUESDAY

Radio 1's Stories - Anti-Social Media: For this special anti-online bullying documentary, young people from various walks of life share their experiences of bullying online, with contributions from Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams, Olympic athlete Beth Tweddle and YouTuber Tomska.

WEDNESDAY

The Surgery: On this special edition of The Surgery we'll be discussing Social Media Etiquette.

THURSDAY

The Internet Takeover Special: Radio 1 Vloggers Dan & Phil, Jack & Dean, Charlie McDonnell, Tomska, Sprinkle of Glitter, Jim Chapman and Patricia Bright share their stories about online negativity and ask how we can make the internet a nicer place.

We're also teaming up with our friends at TheSite.org, they'll be on hand from 10-11pm each evening to offer expert advice if you're struggling with any of the issues we're talking about this week. You can remain anonymous and they'll be answering as many questions as possible. On Wednesday they will be available from 9-11pm to run with The Surgery.

Head to TheSite.org to join the forum.

So if you or your friends are experiencing any negativity online, stick with us all week as we help make the internet a nicer place.
