Why Get Playing? "I am doing this because I have enjoyed some of the most intense emotions of my life through singing in choirs and choruses, and I think making music with other people, in whatever way you can, is an experience everyone should have at least once in their life. About Noel

Noel joined his first choir at the age of seven, has sung for more than half a century, and cannot imagine his life without singing and music.

He currently sings with the 120 strong Belfast Philharmonic Choir, performing great choral works with the magnificent Ulster orchestra. He also enjoys operatic chorus work, and has been in many shows with Castleward Opera and N. I. Opera.

At the age of fifty, Noel began learning the piano. He says taking his Grade 5 was one of the most nerve wracking experiences of his life (this from a journalist who has interviewed X and X) and now plays just for fun.
