Mo Kolours – Meroe
“Meroe” is the title track from Mo Kolours’ latest EP which is out now. Team Lauren were big fans of his 2014 self-titled album, and the follow-up Texture Like Sun. The Guardian described his debut as “the best album Curtis Mayfield never made with A Tribe Called Quest and Lee Perry”. Mo Kolours is Anglo-Mauritian producer, singer and percussionist Joseph Deenmamode.

Nathan Fake – Bosky
“Bosky” is the new track from Nathan Fake’s EP “Providence Reworks: Part I” released on 11th August via Ninja Tune. The EP will be released on a special solid white 12” vinyl. It’s the latest music from Nathan Fake since his amazing fourth album “Providence” released last year.

The War On Drugs – Strangest Thing
The War On Drugs dropped this surprise track online this week. “Strangest Thing” will feature on their fourth album “A Deeper Understanding” out on 25th August via Atlantic. It’s the follow up to the first single from the album “Holding On” released last month. 6 Music were such massive fans of The War On Drugs’ third album “Lost In The Dream” released in 2014 that we made it our Album Of The Year.

Nine Inch Nails – The Background World
Nemone had the world exclusive play of the latest Nine Inch Nails track this week! The Background World is taken from their new EP “ADD VIOLENCE” which is out today. The latest EP is the second in a series of three related EPs, with the first EP “Not The Actual Events” released at the end of last year. We can’t wait to hear more from Nine Inch Nails!

Orbital – Copenhagen
The second of Nemone’s exclusive plays this week is from Orbital! Copenhagen is the first release since Orbital got back together following their five year hiatus. It’s also their first release since the 2012 album “Wonky”. Phil from the band said “I’ve been enjoying playing and developing this track playing it out. We thought it would make a great little reunion present to our fans.” If you like the sound of this then you’ll be happy to know Orbital’s new album will be released at the end of this year or early 2018.
